Update, November 2021: My daughter now fits comfortably into 18m clothes and is getting ready to transition into 24m clothing. This jacket in size 6-9m STILL FITS. The thing is huge. How much longer it will fit, I can't say. I guess I'm glad I haven't had to buy another winter coat yet? But for anyone wondering how the fit is, it's big, especially in the arm length.Original review, January 2021: It’s winter in New England and until I bought this coat I was underdressing my 4-month-old (who currently wears 6-9 month clothes). When the walk from the house to the car and from the car into work is shorter than the time it takes to put a coat or snowsuit on and take it off for car seat safety, then I don’t see the point in using one at all! But this coat — THIS COAT — solved all of my problems. The 6-9 month size fits her well with growing room. We put it on, unzip it for the car seat, arrive at work, zip it back up, and we’re golden. I LOVE this coat and feel it was 100% worth the money. When she needs a bigger coat next winter (or hey, this winter if she keeps growing at the rate that she is...) I will once again turn to Buckle Me Baby Coats.Love this coat! Warm, Fits well, Safe, and has saved me so much time!I was in a car accident (my car was totaled), thank God my son was not in the car. After experiencing such an impact it scared me to buckle my son with his coat on, even if it was thin... On cold hectic mornings, I would have to sit in the car until it warmed up then take off his coat and strap him in. This coat has saved me 10 min every morning. The upper velcro on the coat is amazing it leaves room for the car seat straps to sit comfortably under the coat.Thank you!*** I had this coat for over a year now (Yes, it still fits my son I bought it a little big on him, and now we have it for two winter seasons!!!), I can tell you, it was so well worth the investment!!I'm not sure why people are saying it's cheaply made and not nice looking. I already knew I wanted this coat for my baby (to protect against the harsh winter) so I kept checking on Amazon and they finally posted it online! (Only a few days before I was only seeing toddler coats). Parents constantly say that babies/children can’t have coats on while they are in the car seat…so the best option is a “Buckle Me Coat” where a parent can secure their child in the seat without compromising with cold weather.Nice quality, nice color. Warm. Just too big for a smaller child. Wish it would have fit. It would have been great I think.Amazing!!! Works just as described. Initially I was very nervous spending ~$60 on a toddler coat, but this thing is hands down one of the top 3 parenting tools I've discovered in my 9 years of parenthood. After reading about who invented this coat, I was even more interested (a mom). Buy it. I slip my toddler into it and velcro it. Then, pop the kid into the carseat and and slip his arms through the carseat straps with no hassle. Zip it up and away we go. He doesnt mind it at all (which I was nervous about prior to purchasing). The coat is high quality. Fuzzy, soft fleece inside and a water resistant outside with fluffy fill on the arms and chest. Thinner back. I can tell this was invented by a mom. It 100% makes sense. Next to the nose Frida and dyson animal 11, this is an amazing product.This jacket was for my 3 year old granddaughter. I order the 4T and it fits perfect. The double opening in the front and the thin back side of the jacket make it great to secure her in without taking off the jacket or adjusting the straps any larger. This was such a wonderful idea. I will be getting them as baby shower gifts in the future.I like this product a lot. It’s easy to use. It’s big on my son. I just wish it had an attached hat. That’s my only complaintI wish I’d have thought of this! After struggling to secure my grandchild into her car seat while she was wearing her winter coat, I purchased this hoping to make this easier. And it has made this task so much easier and less frustrating. Also, the coat keeps her warm while she plays outside.
