Florsheim has a great reputation and these don't give that up. My 12 year old boy loves them, a little surprising to me. They look very tasteful and not too "Old" of a style for a young man. I would really recommend some spray on water repellent - these are light and do show dirt. The only downside to them is they appear to be wearing on the sole already. He's worn them for 6 weeks and I'm not sure the bottoms are going to hold up for the school year. He is generally NOT hard on his shoes so this is surprising and disappointing. Otherwise a great shoe for a good price on Amazon!
